here is a great video by sarahbethyoga that teaches you how to get into fallen angel!
come into a side crow pose, and then gently place your head on the ground once you have gotten into a stable side crow pose. slowly straighten your top leg towards the sky, engage your obliques, and then point your bottom feet towards the sky too. you should be lifting the hips off your triceps.

today i actually made progress in my fallen angel <: i felt a lot lighter, my form was a lot better than before, my legs are more vertical now. <: it is a great feeling to have progressed in a pose that seemed really impossible for me just a few months back.
i remember the first time i saw fallen angel pose in canada, i thought “nooooo waaaayyyy.” haha. and then i fell on my face the first time i tried it too. but that was when i couldn’t even do a side crow pose haha. <: and because my another short form of my real name is angel, so i always joked that fallen angel is a pretty apt pose for me, haha <:
